Sitges Art Galleries: Shops and Exhibitions of Art in Sitges Centre

Page Content

Agora 3 Gallery
Agora 3 Gallery
Sitges is a town renowned for its bohemian atmosphere and its artistic residents. Ever since it became the home of artist Santiago Rusiñol it has been a popular destination for creative people. Therefore, it is no surprise that the town's winding and narrow streets are bursting at the seams with art galleries, both large and small.

The three main museums in Sitges are Museu Romántic, Museu Marical and Museu Cau Ferrat - all of which contain old works of art and artefacts (for more details see our Attractions in Sitges page). However, there are many smaller shops and galleries displaying and selling art. If there is a shop or gallery in particular that you wish to visit, it is worth telephoning ahead to double check their opening hours. These may change between the summer and winter months and many will close for an afternoon siesta.

On this page, 'Summer' and 'Winter' are referred to in opening times. 'Summer' is generally meant to mean mid-July to mid-September and 'Winter' is the rest of the year. However, this may vary from gallery to gallery so it may be worth checking before going.

This page provides details for art galleries in Sitges - name, address, telephone number, opening times and Website where available.

Sitges is awash with art galleries, studios and other venues displaying art. If you do not have anything in particular that you would like to see, it may be best to simply wander through Sitges' narrow streets, dropping by at places that look interesting.

Sitges as a town has a wonderful air of creativity and has proved to be an inspiration in the past for artists such as Picasso and Dalí. This is reflected in the works of art that you will see as you stroll through the town. You never know, you may even catch the painting bug yourself and decide to pick up a paintbrush and easel.
