Aqua Leon Water Park and Zoo
Aqua Leon is a huge park situated in Albinyana, approximately 40 km from South from Sitges. It prides itself on being two parks in one – both a zoo and a water park. Both parts of the park are included in the ticket price.

How to get to Aquua Leon from Sitges
A bus is available to take you directly from Sitges to the water park. It leaves from outside the Sitges tourist office at 09:99 each day. Tickets for the bus cost approximately 11 euros per person. Ticket prices and times for the bus may change, so it is best to call the reservation number for more details.

Port Aventura Theme Park
Port Aventura is a large theme park located just outside Tarragona. It is based on the large Florida theme parks and is so big that it is possible to buy passes for more than one day. It is a sure fire way of impressing the kids and will definitely prove to be an action packed day out.

How to travel to Port Aventura from Sitges
Port Aventura has its own train station. Unfortunately trains don’t run there directly from Sitges. It is first necessary to get to Tarragona, from there it is a short train ride to Port Aventura.
To get from Sitges to Tarragona it is necessary to catch a train from Sitges station to Vilanova I Geltru – this journey lasts only 6 minutes and there are three trains every hour. From Vilanova I Geltru you can catch another train that will take you to Tarragona city centre. This journey will take approximately 20 minutes and there normally two trains each hour. Glass Bottom Boat Trips
A company known as Creuers Costa Dorada offer glass bottom boat trips along the coast line close to Sitges. The boat will take you out on an excursion for a full day where you will cruise along the Costa Dorada and stop at Ametlla de Mar (a small fishing village) for lunch. The boats cruise three times per week – on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

How to travel to the Glass Bottom Boat trips from Sitges
Unfortunately the glass bottom boats do not leave directly from Sitges. They leave from either Salou or Cambrils. It will be necessary to take a train from Sitges to either of the destinations – see the Renfe website for more details.
There are a great host of things to do for all the family both in and around Sitges. If you are thinking of going to Sitges for a longer holiday, there is no need to worry about running out of things to do.
