If you would love to eat at one of Sitges’ French restaurants, but you fear that the prices might be too high, it may be worth considering checking their lunchtime prices. Many of the French restaurants offer what is known as a ‘Menu del Dia’ – a three course set menu including drinks and bread. These can often prove to be really good value. For example, on my recent visit to Sitges (in June 2009) Alma restaurant (see below) was offering a Menu del Dia including an entrecote main option for 12 euros per person.

Sitges is a town with a wide variety of French restaurants. Whether you fancy a top notch slap up meal, or simply a crepe as you stroll along the promenade, there is something in Sitges to suit your desires. El trull French restaurant is often cited as one of the best restaurants in town. However, restaurants such as Alma also offer picturesque settings – white washed walls, crisp white tablecloths and low ceilings. If you want to enjoy a romantic evening in Sitges, one of the many French restaurants may be the choice for you.
