This is a map specifically created by Sitges Tourist Information. It is a useful map as it is large and illustrated in colour. On one side it offers a map of the whole of Sitges and on the other side it provides a more detailed focus on Sitges city centre. On the map that focuses on the city centre, small pictures with a key locate all of Sitges' main tourist attractions, including the churches, museums and art galleries. On the map dealing with the whole of Sitges, numbered circles locate various accommodation options, including hotels, apartments and campsites.
At tourist information it is also possible to pick up a small black and white map. This in very convenient when walking round town as it is not a fold-out map and is easier to handle when navigating your way through Sitges' narrow streets. It also provides numbered circles locating various accommodation options, as well as a key and symbols for amenities and services including the post office, the hospital and the train station.
This is a map that is easy to find due to its distinctive rainbow coloured cover. It provides a map of the centre of Sitges with the locations of accommodation, bars, clubs, restaurants, shops and gay saunas. It is catered particularly to gay needs and is therefore a good way of finding places that are particularly gay in town. A small symbol of a bear paw print is shown next to places that cater only for gay men.
If you have not had a chance to go to tourist information and would still like a map, you will find that many of the shops and museums around town stock them. If you are looking for the 'Gay Life' map in particular, Parrots Bar at Placa Industria, 2 pride themselves on always having it available to customers.
