Sitges is a reasonably small town, but there is a lot to see. Therefore, on your arrival, it is worth picking up a map of the area to take a look at where you want to go and find your bearings. Sitges Tourist Information Offices offer a variety of maps focusing on more specific needs.
There are maps helping you to locate accommodation, shops, tourist attractions, gay clubs and bars and restaurants. A large amount of the maps that are available in Sitges are free of charge.
This page will cover where you can pick up the maps of Sitges. It will also provide details of the different maps that are available.
Where to find maps of Sitges – Tourist Information where maps are available
Sitges has two information points in town. These offices offer maps (see below) to find your way around the town and to find what you are looking for in particular. The staff at tourist information are generally very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They will provide you with a map and talk you through anywhere in particular where you would like to go. They will annotate the map with a necessary route or location.

This is Sitges' largest tourist information centre. It is also the closest to the train station. It is located inside the Oasis shopping precinct.

La Fragata Tourist Information
This is a smaller tourist information office – a booth that sits just next to the beach. You can find it sitting just below Sitges' church. Despite its smaller size, it still offers all of the maps and general information that are available at the larger office.

If you have been to Sitges before and are expecting to find a tourist information point just outside the station, take note, this booth is no longer open. You will need to go to one of the other two tourist information centres mentioned above.
What sort of maps of Sitges are available?
At tourist information you will be amazed by the variety of maps of Sitges that are available.
Sitges General Tourist Map
This is a map specifically created by Sitges Tourist Information. It is a useful map as it is large and illustrated in colour. On one side it offers a map of the whole of Sitges and on the other side it provides a more detailed focus on Sitges city centre. On the map that focuses on the city centre, small pictures with a key locate all of Sitges' main tourist attractions, including the churches, museums and art galleries. On the map dealing with the whole of Sitges, numbered circles locate various accommodation options, including hotels, apartments and campsites.

At tourist information it is also possible to pick up a small black and white map. This in very convenient when walking round town as it is not a fold-out map and is easier to handle when navigating your way through Sitges' narrow streets. It also provides numbered circles locating various accommodation options, as well as a key and symbols for amenities and services including the post office, the hospital and the train station.
'Gay Life' Sitges Map
This is a map that is easy to find due to its distinctive rainbow coloured cover. It provides a map of the centre of Sitges with the locations of accommodation, bars, clubs, restaurants, shops and gay saunas. It is catered particularly to gay needs and is therefore a good way of finding places that are particularly gay in town. A small symbol of a bear paw print is shown next to places that cater only for gay men.
If you have not had a chance to go to tourist information and would still like a map, you will find that many of the shops and museums around town stock them. If you are looking for the 'Gay Life' map in particular, Parrots Bar at Placa Industria, 2 pride themselves on always having it available to customers.
On arrival in Sitges, make the most of Sitges' free maps that are on offer. They are a great way to make sense of the town and ensure that you don't miss out on anything.
